A very interesting take on environmental protection. But, maybe the drama took itself a little too seriously.

The Legend of Shen Li (review)
I nearly dropped this drama, was told that it is really worth it sticking it out, and for the first time, I'm really glad I listened. It's one of the best xianxias I've watched in a long while. And I'm notorious for not liking the genre, having disliked previous big hits like Love Between Fairy and Devil, and Till the End of the Moon.
In Blossom review
Sometimes you just want candy an In Blossom delivers. But it's not just a drama with pretty faces - we root for the characters and the mysteries are engrossing and moving.
Yong’an Dream (review)
Yong'an Dream was very promising on paper ... unfortunately, the execution was not great and the drama suffered for it.
Draw the Line (review)
I'm always interested in how countries manage their affairs, so Draw the Line gave me a fascinating look into the Chinese justice system, and also into the lives and society of Chinese people. If you're interested in things like that, give Draw the Line a look.
What’s wrong with my princess? (mini drama, review)
With 10-minute episodes, mini dramas are a great way to quickly absorb a story while you find another big drama to invest in. Here's a "second chance" story about a wronged general who decides to take revenge after she is reborn as her younger self.
Dropped: The Mutations
A rare sci-fi historical mash-up in a CDrama world saturated with idol romance dramas. The Mutations offers something different with its schlocky brand of creature feature. But ... it wasn't enough for me.
February 2024 Chinese dramas
After a dry January, we finally get better choices in February. Which Cdramas are worth watching? Here are my thoughts!
Meteor, Butterfly, Sword (review)
Gu Long's novels don't seem to get the same love as Jin Yong's, so there are less TV adaptations to enjoy. Meteor, Butterfly, Sword is gritty, dark and filled with assassins, prostitutes and scheming sect leaders. A classic wuxia tale that you'll probably never see on TV again.
The Captain (movie review)
All I could think of while watching this movie was - how did I not know about The Captain when it aired in 2019?? The movie is a retelling of the real-life miracle landing of Sichuan Air Flight 8633.
