Season 1, Episode 7: Confessions of a CDrama Curmudgeon

In this special, rambly episode, I talk about how after years of lurking in CDrama fandoms, I’ve become more engaged as a fan. I also talk about the difficulties of being a Cdrama curmudgeon, especially in a space where negative reviews of actors and CDramas are viewed with distaste and you’ll be labelled a “hater”.

There’s also that little bit in which I talk honestly about Sinophobia, and how uninformed CDrama fans just casually spout things that hurt the feelings of Chinese folks like me. All in all, this is a “no holds barred” episode where I talk about what it’s like being an active CDrama fan right now.
